When I saw Thistlewood Farm's 'easy peasy burlap vase project', I had one of those moments. Less than a day later, I had my very own 'easy peasy burlap vase'.
Fortunately, I already had some flowers, thanks to a crafting experience gone wrong with my handsome husband.
So the timing of this 'easy peasy burlap vase' pin could not have been more perfect.
I love how the burlap wrap covers the stems and water and gives the flowers a more complete look.
This project certainly did live up to its name. It was both easy and peasy.
If you want to make one of your own, head over to Thistlewood Farm and check out KariAnne's tutorial.
Karianne is an amazing source of inspiration! Did the burlap come with that writing on it?
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What a clever idea! I love when pins motivate someone to make their own creation. :)
ReplyDeleteThere's just something about burlap that reels us on in! I think it can make anything look better:D Beautiful flowers...lucky gal;) I told my husband about your last post and getting flowers... he asked me where's his flowers. Duh! LOL.

Leave it to you to see and do...and do it beautifully! I saw this when she posted it and loved it! Love yours too!
ReplyDeleteYes I have been so inspired. At least inspired enough to run out and get the goods before I let them sit in wait of further inspiration for making the item.

I had the same experience yesterday. Was looking at a pin board and the project grabbed me so I grabbed the car keys and high tailed it to the dollar store!
