Mason Jar Fairy House

Grace was recently invited to a fairy themed birthday where she got to create a fairy house our of a mason jar.

AND...it was so adorable, I had to share.

To make your own fairy house, find a mason jar.

Fill your jar with things like moss, feathers, jewels and little trinkets.

Feel free to decorate the jar with nature themed stickers.

Add some ribbons, flowers and, if you want, a personalized name tag.  This felt tag was embroidered but you could always attach a paper tag if you'd prefer.

When your jar is done, wait for the fairies to arrive.

  5. My daughter would love this - 2 years ago, she had a fairy / elf themed party for her third birthday, this would've been a fabulous party activity!

  8. Thanks Amy. I have a fondness for gnomes, if I had a boy, we would make a gnome home :)

  9. What a great idea for a kids party craft! I would be utterly intimidated to have Grace to a party after all of the amazing ones you've done, but that woman had her game on for sure! Cute!

  12. Oh my word, what is going on with fairies right now? My girls are on a fairy kick themselves. They built houses...on the front sidewalk of all places. So cute.

  16. Absolutely love this Amy! So glad you shared. Jake's best friend is a little girl who loves fairies but she also loves creating things. I'm thinking for her bday maybe I'll give her all the supplies to make her very own fairy house. Thanks for the inspiration! Tell Grace her house turned out beautiful!
