Three Tip Thursday - repost

Want to make life a little easier?  Here are a few helpful tips:

Tip 1: Want to avoid the spills that come from squeezing a full juice box? Lift the flaps on the side of the juice box.

Instruct your child to hold the juice box by its ears. You'll have no more spills resulting from squeezing.

Tip 2: Want to stop your pot from boiling over, put a wooden spoon over it. I've heard this before but had to see for myself and it works.

And a bonus tip, if your dog should happen to eat a Bento Box Sushi Mold...

One tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide will induce vomiting. This tip is veterinarian approved {Thank goodness we have a vet in the family and on 24 hours a day call}.

  1. Great tips.. I especially the boiling water tip. Sometimes I tend to forget that I have something on stove and by the time I come back disaster has already struck... I blame the darn crafting projects;) Now can you give me a tip on how not to forget that I have something in the toaster oven? I'm always burning my bagel, toast, etc. I'm telling you it's those darn crafting projects:P

    1. It's a life saver. When I get distracted with crafts and forget that I have something boiling, that spoon saves me!

  4. what wonderful tips!!! Do you think the wooden spoon works for milk too. this regularly boils over in my household and is always an allmighty mess :-)
Also love the vomit inducing dog tip. we have a new puppy (plus several older dogs) who eats everything!
