I Survived 5

It's official.  Grace turned 5.

We celebrated.  (Don't worry, you'll get your post party invitation in a few days.)

And, then came the aftermath of the celebration.

The mess.

After completing nearly everything on my list, for the big celebration...

I was exhausted.  When all was said and done, this momma decided to celebrate that I survived.

And, then we decided we needed to escape.

So, we packed up and went to Wisconsin...for an entire week.

The entire family escaped for the adventure.

And, now we are home.

Did you miss me?  Because I missed you!

  16. If that moss covered 5 is any indication of the party decor I can't wait to see it! Wasn't it about this time last year when I discovered you and your awesome Big Top tent from party for a 4 year old?!!

  19. Glad you survived and yes I missed you. Glad you had a good vacation. I love that your dog stayed on the paddle board - I don't think our puppy (Golden Retriever) would have now that she has learned that she likes water.

    1. Thanks Heather. Our dog hates the water, which might be why she didn't attempt to leave the board :)

  20. Mo better get his act together if he is going to keep up with his female counterpart..... he has never surfed before. And did the banana have anything to do with the wine? I gotta know.

  23. Congratulations on surviving! Birthday parties should always be followed by a glass of wine (or two) and how smart to add a vacation to that!
