A quick and easy decoration to enhance your 4th of July. Paper stars strung on twine...A Fourth of July inspired project.
Gather the following supplies: hole punch, twine, scissors and stars cut out of cardstock.
Punch a hold through the top of the star.
Knot the end of your twine.
Thread it through your star.
Hang and admire.
Cute idea! The best part is you can store away and reuse for Christmas/New Year! Such a simple, but cute patriotic decoration... Love!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I hadn't even thought of reusing them for Christmas or New year. Thank you!
DeleteSuch a simple and beautiful idea. I agree with Heather you could reuse these for many holidays. :)
ReplyDeleteoh that's cute, save them for Christmas, a bit of glitter and there's decorations for then as well :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I'd have to do maple leaves, or beavers or something (not nearly as chic), but I love the idea! :)
ReplyDeleteWhoops, in the second sentence you wrote "cut hearts" instead of "stars" out of cardstock. And look at you, so on the ball with the 4th of July craft! I might make red, blue, white jello. We'll see ;). You know how much of a slacker I am after that confession post ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this - and I love that I won't have to drive to Hobby Lobby to get supplies! I think I'll make a little strand of garland to go in our window. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet comment. I hope you do end up making a strand of garland!
DeleteGreat idea. I think I need some of these in the studio window.
ReplyDeleteOoh 2 of my fave things - Stars and Twine, makes a perfect decoration! You could even cut them out of red and blue card stock too for a even more patriotic feel.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Estelle xx
Of course you are having a 4th of July party :)
ReplyDeleteI really love how simple this is, but so...Americana, I guess. Love it, perfect for the 4th.
ReplyDeleteAmy, you always know how to make the simplest thing be so pretty! I too like the idea that you can use them for Christmas and New Years...but don't listen to Mel...don't put glitter on them. She's a glitter fiend!
ReplyDeleteCute! Great idea amy!
ReplyDeleteSimple and lovely! These would look pretty in my craft room in all different colors :-).
ReplyDeleteOh! I didn't even see this one before! This is so great. Did I mention I'm obsessed with stars??? Hooray for star crafts :) Thanks for another great tutorial!!!
