Not only is this an easy, no sew, fun project, BUT it also has the possibility of becoming a family hareloom.
The number of embroidery hoops and spring colored fabric will depend on how many bunnies you need for your family.
Cover each embroidery hoop with desired colored fabric. Trim excess away.
Next, cut out the bunny body parts.
Out of the white felt, cut a round circle {bunny head}, 2 ears and a rounded triangle body. Out of the pink felt, cut out a cute little bunny nose.
Create your bunny by gluing the bunny parts onto the fabric covered embroidery hoop. The bunny eyes, French knots, are made using black thread. *You can add any extras {buttons, beads, felt} to help personalize each bunny.
Repeat these steps for each bunny family member you have left.
Now to formally introduce you to the While Wearing Heels bunny family.
Thank goodness Mommy Bunny was having a good hare day.
And, last but certainly not least, Baby Bunny. Baby Bunny enjoys spending her day playing hopscotch.
A truly EARresistable bunny family.
So, I am all *ears*, tell me how you'd personalize your own bunny.

Deletesuper cute!!! I found few embroidery loops at Goodwill for really cheap :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute. Just pinned it. If I were to get around to this before Easter this year (not likely). I'd have to figure out how to give Mommy Bunny a baby bump. Our #1 is on the way, but I look forward to making this next year (when we can have a baby bunny hoop)!
ReplyDeleteI just picked up a few embroidery hoops at goodwill this weekend, still on the hunt for a few more in other sizes. I'm hoping to come up with something cute for each holiday and be able to swap them out for easy decore that is small to store.
What an adorable family you have there! :) As always, I love your ideas.. so cute and creative! And love your puns... queen of puns!
ReplyDeleteThat is just so very cute. It kind of tickles me that there would be a bunch of bunnies on our wall LOL My bunny would have to have glitter :)

ReplyDeleteYou seem to outdo yourself with every new blog post...your ideas are amazing! I might have my bunny holding a barbell since I've been doing lots of Crossfit lately. My husband's bunny would have a bike helmet on and my lil guy would have a train conductor overalls. So cute. Pinning immediately.

ReplyDeleteI bet Grace LOVES those doesn't she? The blue tie on poppa bun is cute.
ReplyDeleteI'd need a lot of hoops at my house but it would be funny to think of what to put on whom so they recognize themselves.
