Though there were reasons to whine...
Like the chartered bus we reserved never showed up SO we ended up having to take a short yellow school bus to our tastings.
And that the bus' windows would not close.
Or that it rained ALL day long.
Those bumps in the road {which are felt even more intensely while riding in a school bus} only added to the adventure.
but life is what you make of it.
So here is a toast, to all those moments in life that you could whine about...
Sometimes, it just a matter of seeing the glass as half full instead of half empty.
it's one of those days amy :)
ReplyDeletebut guess what, the bumpier the ride the better because it will make you appreciate what's ahead of you even more...life is good!

You guys are soo cute!
ReplyDeleteWell at least tell me you tasted some delicious wine! Great pictures of you and your guy too! It's a glass 1/2 full kind of life!! Beats the altenative!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun...even if things did not work out as planned. At least they had plenty of wine for you to have along the way. That probably made it a little easier. What a great idea. Megan
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, Amy! (And the yellow bus made me giggle ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I love your philosophy. :)
ReplyDeleteWe went wine tasting last weekend too! It was a blast! Love the bus, I wish we had had one for when we went. Instead my husband had to do the driving, so I did most of the drinking ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it Amy! You right about your quote. Looks like great fun to me. I always enjoy wine tasting and fresh air.
ReplyDeleteLove this post that had me smiling all the way through! And BTW, I love the name of your blog.

Oh that looks lovely - there is something funny about talking a school bus to go drinking! I love vineyards. Even though being in the rain sucks they look beautiful wet.
ReplyDeleteLove it! And seeing photos of you two love birds!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving every word you said, though I already knew you were a half glass full kinda girl :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post! Thanks for reminding us dear Amy
ReplyDeleteThose kinds of things always seem to cement the memories into place and they sure provide for an engaging story. Looks like you all had a great time together!

Oh you know you loved that bus;P LOL. Sometimes all those unwanted incidents are the best memories.. they give you something to laugh about. It seems everyone was having a good time.. and that's all that matters. Hey, and it's ok to whine at times:D
ReplyDeleteWow! What a terrific outlook you have. You've inspired me with your perspective and I'm glad I stopped by. And, I LOVE that rolled into the wine gallery via the short bus. :-)
