The best part of making this crown is gathering the supplies.
Take the weeping willow branches and begin to wind them into a crown shape. Twist and wind each additional weeping willow branch to help maintain and secure the shape.
When your crown is complete, adorn it with wildflowers.
Then crown a wildflower princess.
I hope spring sticks around a little while longer, I think I want to make a wildflower crown for myself, too!
So cute, Amy! That Grace is always such a sweet little model. :)
ReplyDeletePositively adorable!! Now I want to see you in one girl!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! It would make a nice flower girl head piece, wouldn't it! I don't see those type of flowers in my area. Do they grow around your house?
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you can take pictures of your handiwork, while actually doing the handiwork! Nice lighting :). Cute crown for a cute princess indeed!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! We caught a glimps of spring last week but we are back in the 40's this week. Soon.......
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Erin. We've had crazy weather here too. It just can't make up its mind to be nice ALL the time.
Deletethis kind of projects are my favorites! beautiful and fragile. and grace looks adorable xxx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that is just adorable, I have never seen those flowers before so pretty!
ReplyDeleteCute, we still have snow, but I think this weekend we will hit the 60's. I just might have to make one too, so I can dance and celebrate the warm weather. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet picture. Love the crown. I definitely think you need to make one for yourself.
ReplyDeleteShe is a little beauty!!!!!! You are a fun mom!!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love Grace's expression! What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that we have weeping willow anywhere near here. I'm going to have to get inventive if we're going to make our own wildflower crowns.
I love how the weeping willows are bright yellow in the neighborhood right now! No purple flowers in sight yet here though, but would be so nice with the yellow :)
ReplyDeleteAmy that is so cute and fun! I saw this on fb last night but didn't take the time then to see it here. Love that you do such fun stuff with your lovely lil girl!

You seriously are the best mama. And your little girl crafts are AMAZING. Do you think it will be okay if I just make myself a wildflower crown since I don't have a little girl to make one for. Pinning to my new board - AMAZING crafts for kids. I'll be putting pretty much all your posts under that new board!
