Inspired by Olive Someday, an etsy shop that stocks fun vintage finds for your home, and armed with some naked berry boxes.
I grabbed some acrylics and decided to paint my berry boxes.
And within minutes, my naked berry boxes took on a whole new look.
*I found my berry boxes at a local flea market. 5 berry boxes for $1!

LOVE, love, love these boxes!!! Where do you get those cute little berry boxes? And I am curious what you will do with them now.
ReplyDeleteSo simple and so pretty! Love them!!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I think I like the pink the best
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin. That berry box certainly is pretty in pink, huh?
DeleteSo simple and so cute! I am copying this!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I could use them in just about every room. Do you get berries in a wooden box from the store? Or do you buy them separately?
ReplyDeleteOh wow, those look great! Awhile back I got a bunch of brand new bushel baskets at Goodwill. I bet I could do something similar with those. Thanks for the inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Where did you get those baskets? We always have the plastic clamshells when we buy berries. Don't think they'd have quite the same effect. ;)
ReplyDeleteNice touch! The fun paint colors made an already cute container even the more fun!
ReplyDeleteEnquiring minds want to know...where do you find those baskets...even at berry stands all we ever see are the green plastic ones, or at the market it's the plastic clamshell.
ReplyDeleteI found these berry boxes at a local flea market. They were 5 for $1. I had no idea what to do with them when I bought them but now that they have a coat of paint, I adore them.
DeleteI should have loked for those last week! I could use some for organizing my "office"
ReplyDeleteomgosh - in total luv!! i would have never thot about that. i want your flea markets! down here we dont have flea markets per say more as 'new-made-in-china-dollar-store-junk', now i luv me some dollar store stuff like the next girl but when i got to a flea market i want other people used treasures know what i mean? those boxes make me what to go dewberry, blackberry and blue berry picking!!
ReplyDeleteI have a similar type basket that a plant/floral arrangement came in - I bet I could paint the whole thing and make it anew! Thanks for the tip :)
ReplyDeleteThese are darling Amy! Love the colors. Did you put a varnish on as well? I never know when to add a varnish or not. i usually just get lazy and skip it all together.
ReplyDeleteI have some of these! LOVE! I could do this! Then put them in my pantry to hold seasoning packets or something!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great price and they turned out lovely! I love the pretty spring colors! What are you going to do with them?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I have some down in the basement. The boys laughed tonight as we watched the snow come down and did not have any flowers to give our neighbors for May Day.
ReplyDeleteWe will do something fun with this idea, Thanks!
So cute and fun! Love the fresh colors.
ReplyDelete:) Linda
So pretty! :) Love the colors you chose.
ReplyDeleteCute colors! What will you use them for?
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love having little baskets in my windowsill for produce, as long as we can keep my cat away from them. These would make such a lovely addition! I'll have to keep my eye out for the wooden boxes, I've never seen anything like that anywhere!
ReplyDeleteSo bright and happy! I can think of so many things you could do with these! Pinning!
