Painted Berry Boxes

Inspired by Olive Someday, an etsy shop that stocks fun vintage finds for your home, and armed with some naked berry boxes.

I grabbed some acrylics and decided to paint my berry boxes.

And within minutes, my naked berry boxes took on a whole new look.

*I found my berry boxes at a local flea market.  5 berry boxes for $1!

  4. So pretty, I could use them in just about every room. Do you get berries in a wooden box from the store? Or do you buy them separately?

  5. Oh wow, those look great! Awhile back I got a bunch of brand new bushel baskets at Goodwill. I bet I could do something similar with those. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  6. Love this! Where did you get those baskets? We always have the plastic clamshells when we buy berries. Don't think they'd have quite the same effect. ;)

  7. Nice touch! The fun paint colors made an already cute container even the more fun!

  8. Enquiring minds want to know...where do you find those baskets...even at berry stands all we ever see are the green plastic ones, or at the market it's the plastic clamshell.

  15. Great idea! I have some down in the basement. The boys laughed tonight as we watched the snow come down and did not have any flowers to give our neighbors for May Day.
We will do something fun with this idea, Thanks!

  19. So cute! I love having little baskets in my windowsill for produce, as long as we can keep my cat away from them. These would make such a lovely addition! I'll have to keep my eye out for the wooden boxes, I've never seen anything like that anywhere!
