Jack Skellington Ornaments

Christmas post?  Halloween post?  Maybe both?

My sister LOVES Nightmare Before Christmas...so much so that The Nightmare Before Christmas decal adorns her car.

She had been dropping hints that she wanted a Jack Skellington ornament and if you know my sister, you know *hints* really translates into *demands*.

I researched Jack Skellington {I'll be disowned when I admit, I haven't seen this movie} and found that there is a happy Jack and a mean Jack SO I decided to make both and share the tutorial with other Nightmare Before Christmas fans.

Happy Jack Skellington

Supplies:  Black Felt {for the back}, White Felt {for the face}, Black Ribbon {to hang your ornament}, Black Thread and Needle.

Satin stitch the eyes horizontally.  When the eye is filled in with the satin stitch, outline the eye using a stem stitch.  The mouth , nostrils and lines by the eyes are also completed using a stem stitch.  The stitch through the mouth is a straight stitch.

When the embroidery is complete, glue the white front to the black back, sandwiching the looped ribbon in between.

Mayor: How horrible our Christmas will be!
Jack Skellington: *No.*
[the Mayor switches to his upset face]
Jack Skellington: How *jolly*!
Mayor: Oh. How *jolly* our Christmas will be.

May you all have a *jolly* Christmas.
