To get started, gather the following supplies:
Using this pattern:
Cut 2 fish shapes our of the scrap fabric. Place the shapes together, wrong sides together, right sides facing out.
Don't let this next step intimidate you, even though it will require using one of these...
Leaving about a 1/4 of an inch seam, sew around the perimeter of your fish. Leave about an inch of the tail unsewn.
Fill your fish, from the opening you left, with fiberfill.
Either by hand or with the machine, sew the opening on the fish tail closed.
*I added my button eye after, in order to give myself enough room for the sewing machine foot.
Continue these steps for the remaining fish.
Secure each fish onto your stick using a needle and thread. Once in place, add a dab of glue to further secure it into place.
Tie some twine to each side of the stick.
Then, hang your fish mobile up.
There are plenty of fish in the sea, so why not make one of your own.
*Don't want to make one yourself? This Fish Mobile is currently for sale in my Etsy shop.
