*Punny* Finger Painted Silhouette Valentines

No matter how old your little one is, this is the perfect option for a personalized, meaningful Valentine's day card, thank you card or just because card.

What you'll need:
Finger paints
Card stock {white to paint on and colored to create your card out of}
Silhouette shapes {we did a Google image search for animal shapes}
Scissors
Glue
Stamps, markers or pen {to write your card out}

And a willing artist...

When the finger painting masterpiece, your little artist created, has completely dried, trace out a few silhouette shapes of animals {or whatever shape you decide}.

Either you or your little artist {depending on how skilled they are with scissors} can cut the finger painting shapes out.

Using either stamps, markers or a pen add a caption to your card. I am a fan of adding some sort of a pun to my cards. As if ewe hadn't already guessed.

I guarantee, anyone that receives one of these cards will think they are purr-fect.

This is such an easy way to involve your little one {regardless of age} so they can create something truly unforgettable.

What a sweet way to let some bunny, any bunny know how much you care.

I hope you and your little artist have fun making some of your own cards and creating some memories in the process.

You Stole My Heart Valentine's

Though it may not be baseball season just yet, it is almost Valentine's day.   These 'you stole my heart' Valentine's are quick, easy and fun to make.

First, grab a pencil with a good eraser.  Trace a heart on the eraser.  Using an X-acto knife, remove the excess around the traced heart from your eraser.

Now that we have a heart stamp...

gather the following supplies:  an ink pad, mini stamps, heart shaped sucker, heart pencil stamp and white card stock cut out in circles.

Use the heart pencil stamp to create the stitches on the baseball and add 'you stole my heart' or some other cute baseball saying to the center and attach your sucker.

I think these Valentine's are a definite home run!

Birthday Traditions Continue

Today is my handsome husband's birthday.

Nearly every day, he does something that makes me smile or laugh.

So, for each birthday we've spent together, I create birthday signs for him.

I find funny pictures he has happily posed for throughout the year and I add a funny caption to it.

Get it, pirate booty...geez, what were you thinking?

Then I hide them all over the house, waiting for him to stumble upon them and hopefully smile...

Because nearly every day, this sweet man makes me smile and remember not to take life too seriously.
