Her eagerness to pluck it, make a wish and blow the dandelion seeds makes my heart melt.
The problem being, instead of seeing dandelions when I look outside, this is my current view.
I am a fan of snow at Christmas {which we had none of this past year}. After Christmas, though, I start counting down the days until Spring returns.
So, since there are no dandelions at the moment, I decided to make some of my own.
My dandelion wish would be that Spring will show herself soon.
What a great idea to welcome spring more quickly! I love watching little kids and dandelions. Actually my favorite wine at a local Maryland winery is their Dandelion wine. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm tired of snow. I'm looking forward for a warm weather :) I LOVE the embroidered pillow.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE those pillows. Those would match my bedroom perfectly!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Erin. If it doesn't sell, it's yours :)
DeleteI love this! Sigh, I am counting down the days until spring too. My whole family is. Yesterday Gavin asked me how many more months until he could ride his scooter at the park :(
ReplyDeleteAmy that is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI used to love blowing dandelions as a kid... I guess what kid didn't. Good memories:) But I also remember good memories of snow..hehe! Love the pillows! Another item that will surely sell fast. :)
ReplyDeletethat is very creative...love the color combo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pillow, it has such a nice charm to it! It will go to a nice home in no time! And I WAS gonna say that I was jealous you were having warm weather, but I guess you're not. Hang it there, it's almost over (I'm so sick and tired of it, too, who isn't? oh right, those who live in Florida...)
ReplyDeleteYour dandelion pillows are beautiful and your little girl is precious! I guess you just make beautiful things! :)
ReplyDeleteKaren
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteThose pillows are adorable! I must pin them. And remember, you always have a place to visit in San Diego if winter becomes unbearable! :)
ReplyDeleteEEEEKKKK! I hope it sells fast! Super cute! You are talented. And the little lady is so precious.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable, I love the yellow sunshiney feel of spring on the grey it really does feel like the sun after Winter. I hope you get your dandelions soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny no matter what fancy toys are available the old school fun of the garden is always a winner.
I love your pillow! You do such amazing embroidery work! I'm ready for spring too.
ReplyDeletegreat blog!! following xoox
ReplyDeleteLove the idea.
ReplyDeleteI do love your photo of the snow. :)
You really are so talented and never cease to amaze me with the things you come up with. I have to admit though, that I'm a little envious of your view of all that beautiful snow. Although, I imagine I'd be changing my tune if I had to drive, grocery stop, pick up children, etc. in it everyday. You should totally pack your bags and head south. You wouldn't even have to bring a jacket. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're starting to getting green here in Oregon, Amy, and the wind is blowing in your direction! In no time at all, you'll be swimming in dandelions. I love the pillow.
ReplyDeleteYour pillow is beautifully designed! I am anxious for spring, too, and a bit of warm sunshine! Your sweet pillow and photo of your daughter blowing her dandelion give me hope!
ReplyDeleteAwesome Amy! As usual. Cute pics of Grace. Can't decide which is cuter...the necklace or the band-aid...but the pillow is divine!
ReplyDeleteI just adore that pillow! Beautiful. Destined to be a best seller!
ReplyDelete:) Linda
I love it! There is something so innocently fun about blowing dandelion fluff!
ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia. I am not sure I'll ever grow tired of blowing dandelion fluff.
