My husband obviously knows the way to my heart...jute twine.
With my jute twine in hand, I made a simple garland to add to our Valentine's day decor. I cut out some red hearts (by hand...can you believe it!), secured them to the twine with miniature clothes pins and strung it up.
I am thinking, I may even add 'I love you' in different languages to each heart.
Or, maybe I'll write, I love jute twine...er, I mean, my husband onto the hearts.
I love jute twine too. The hearts on your door look so pretty. :) Megan
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Great and easy Valentine's Day decor! My family all give me Home Depot or Menards gift cards in place of gifts. But when I make a list I always add sanding discs to it because I go through so many of those.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable Amy! Love the idea of writing messages on the hearts.
ReplyDeleteTuula :)

ReplyDeleteDear friend, I love jute twine too. It's ok, you're not alone and I'm sure our husbands love the fact that it doesn't take much to make us happy!

So cute, so simple and easy...perfect for a little helper too! And I adore the mini clothespins! I made a Valentine's Day flag garland and used them so string the flags on a length of lace.
ReplyDeleteUm...I'd like to see a picture of that :)
DeleteLove this! I might have to make one. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable, Amy! I've never made a garland before...you've inspired me.
ReplyDeleteI love the garland, I also love that you give those types of requests to your husband. I asked for paint brushes and sandpaper and Santa put it in my stocking LOL.
ReplyDeletethat looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteI still have my garland up from Christmas...bad Sarah! You can't tell though unless you get up, close, and personal to the paper. Hearts would be sweet as a replacement :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you hung it to hang vertically!!!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet and cute. And I understand completely about the jute twine. Every time I find it in a store, it's like finding an ancient artefact, untouched by modern times!
ReplyDeleteCute! It looks perfect hung up on your door like that. I LOVE the idea of writing 'I love you' in different languages... I say go for that. And I can't believe you cut your hearts out by hand.. they all look exactly the same!
